My name is Keith Evans and I am currently researching the final death and burial information for my great uncle, George Edward Evans.

George died on November 8, 1966 at the Rochford General Hospital. His home address at the time was recorded as 6 Hindles Road, Canvey Island in the subdistrict of Rochford in the County of Essex.

I am wondering if anyone can assist me in finding out what happened to the body of the deceased George Edward Evans (e.g. was it transferred to a specific funeral home or burial/cremation institution in the local area?) as may be recorded in the Rochford General Hospital medical and/or archival records.

Perhaps I could be referred to a contact person who might have any information about George Edward final days and/or resting place?

And if there is a need for extra information about George Edward Evans I can gladly provide what I have.

I am also attaching a copy of the Death Certificate.
