If my memory has it right the brother and sister who sang & danced at the library were Brian & Norma Hills, their father's name was Norman, in 1949 he was a painter.

Back in the 50's when I was about 12 my mate Graham & myself used to listen to a brother & sister roughly the same age as us singing, dancing & playing the piano in the adjoining room on the left of the library in Ship Lane. Their Christian names have left my memory at the moment but their surname may have been Hills. I believe that the pair went on to sing aboard pleasure ships for a shipping company. My memory tells me that they lived past the Anne Boleyn in one of the newer houses. Their father may have been the unknown man at the right end of the second row in D Company.
